The blade comes sharpened with a full tang design.
- Saya: The saya of the sword is wooden with a black high gloss finish. A black cotton sageo has been tied around the kurigata of the saya. The koiguchi is a blackened steel fitting.
- Tsuba: The tsuba is black steel with the legendary double ring design. Two seppas secure the tsuba.
- Tsuka: The fuchi is blackened steel. The tsuka core is wooden with an imitation ray skin samegawa wrap. A black cotton ito has been wrapped over the ray skin. Two bamboo mekugi secures the tang of the sword. Two alloy menuki are on each side of the tsuka.
