Helle Knives

Beautifully situated in the Norwegian fjord landscape is the small village of Holmedal and Helles knife factory. Here, the knives are manufactured according to old traditions instead of the usual, automated mass production. Helle's basic philosophy is simple: "Quality is best preserved by skilled craftsmen who have a great deal of experience and pride shape each Hellen knife into a unique product". The knives are designed to withstand hard work and are designed by and for hunters, fishermen and outdoorsmen. The steel most often used is a three-layer laminated stainless steel with excellent properties and a razor-sharp edge. It is an expensive steel, but as part of Helle's philosophy, you don't like to compromise on quality.
