Gel blasters are a great alternative for getting into airsoft. Its a great step up option from Nerf as gel blasters offer airsoft like aesthetics, functions, and operation. Moreover, gel blasters do not shot at such high FPS levels, making the whole initial experience much less painful for new comers to shooting sports!
This particular gel blaster is modeled after the AK and its very true to spec and size. Though the gun is completely plastic and very light, it still works just like any AK AEG. The gun features an adjustable stock, removable magazine, and accessory rails that can work with other standard airsoft related accessories.
The gel blasters shoot "gel balls" that are water based and shatter into small gel pieces upon impact. This makes getting shot much less painful and since the balls are water based, they are extremely small in their dehydrated state. By simply adding water, the balls increase to a 7mm size but are extremely light.
Each gun is battery operated and this particular gun comes with a battery that can easily be charged.
