The small fly must be simple, tied with carefully to swim and fish effectively despite its tiny size. A good taper and soft hair make even the smallest fly look alive. Secure the loose hook with FITS tubing in S or XS.
Our cross breed between Green Highlander and Silver Grey. Maybe it saw the light because we couldn’t decide which one of the classics to fish – we just love those classics. This is our absolute favourite fly for sunny weather in clear to greenish rivers. We fish these really small for the trickiest salmon. We even do a spring version “classic style” in 8-6 cm that has given us many memorable fish.
