The basic material of the knife is tool steel D2. It is characterised by a number of distinctive properties that are important for various complex tasks. The high chromium content in the composition gives the steel high corrosion resistance and durability - it is resistant to blade chipping under intensive use. The blade steel is hardened to 60 HRC and exhibits good edge sharpness without the need for regular sharpening, and the blade width of 2.9mm is suitable for working with a variety of materials. The blade closes and opens with a Flipper, which is highly regarded for its reliability and ease of maintenance.
The blades are made of G10 composite material, this ensures that the blade remains undamaged even if it falls from a height and comes into contact with acids. The fibreglass-reinforced plastic is highly durable, will not crack or warp in extreme temperatures and retains its vibrant colours even when exposed to UV light for long periods. The roughened surface of the pads creates a non-slip surface so the tool does not slip from wet hands.
Since this Ganzo FH41S is an EDC type model, the weight of the knife has been lightened as much as possible to make the tool comfortable to carry. With an overall length of 175mm, the product weighs just 72g, which is virtually unnoticeable in the hand.
