The G.O.O.B silencer for the SA1, iBolt, Mauser, SX9 (etc) is quite a long silencer, but as it sits over the outer barrel, this length is not transferred directly to the rifle.
Silencers in Airsoft do not make your gun whisper quiet, but rather serve to take the crack out of the shot by dampening the noise as the BB leaves the barrel. This makes it very difficult to isolate the location of the shooter, which is a tremendous advantage for the sniper/marksman role.
