"Molon Labe" is Greek for the phrase "Come and Take Them". This phrase is a classical expression of defiance popularized during the time when Plutarch, Xerxes I, king of Achaemenid Empire, demanded the Spartans surrender their weapons during which time then King Leonidas responded with said phrase. Currently the phrase is used in conjunction with the supporters of the Second Amendment in the United States (the right to bear arms) symbolizing their defiance to potential "tyranny" which could take away their rights for both self preservation and other recreational uses of firearms.
The AW Custom 1911A1 pistol bears these markings in combination with the classic 1911 design, making this cool and rebellious design. Other than being a rebel, the pistol also features the signature work you would come to expect from AW Customs in terms of stability and efficiency. The pistol also is full metal in its construction, making it extremely durable and satisfying to shoot.
