Myr Outdoor

Myr Outdoor began with wet, torn gloves and frozen-stiff fingers. After a long day in the mountains in February 2018, friends David and Per sat in their cabin and decided that things could be done better. They took apart old gloves, delved into the details of materials and seams, and built prototype after prototype until they finally created a glove that could stand up to the task.

Today, all Myr gloves are designed and developed in Norrbotten. The prototypes are worn by, among others, reindeer herders, mountain guides, and others who spend much of the year in the cold. Their design draws inspiration from traditional craftsmanship and Sámi roots, and the gloves are built to endure heavy use without wearing out.
