PCP stands for Pre-Charged Pneumatic. These PCP air rifles have a built-in air reservoir that is filled with a hand pump or compressed air bottle, which provides even pressure and consistent performance shot after shot. The range includes rifles from several well-known brands including Hatsan, Reximex, Stoeger, Artemis and Gamo – in 4.5, 5.5 and 6.35 mm calibers.
Several models are available as bullpups, with a shorter overall length but maintained barrel length – good if you want a more compact weapon. Some also have a pressure regulator, which keeps the power more even over more shots instead of it dropping towards the end of the air filling.
