Drawstrings

Drawstrings are used to pull with solvent, oil or to wipe the barrel clean. They are attached to a jag or pull loop and pushed through the barrel to pick up dirt and residue. The pads are available in different materials such as cotton, non-woven and special fabric - all with high absorbency and the right fit for the barrel dimension.

A good Drawstring should sit tight in the barrel without getting stuck. Many choose pads adapted to the caliber and type of weapon to get the best possible contact with the barrel walls. Combined with the right solvent and a sturdy soda stick, you get a simple but effective cleaning - regardless of whether it is a rifle, pistol or airgun.
