ONTOS (“the thing” in Greek) is a pure field knife, tough and heavyweight despite its compact size. The serrated segment on the back of the blade is meant as a back-up, never to be caught without a sharp edge ready for use. The MOLLE compatible nylon thigh sheath stays on even in the event of a retreat, when a soldier would drop most of his cumbersome primary equipment. It is possible to buy separately a survival kit to be fixed to knife sheath.
