A floating, coated shooting line specifically designed for use with our ULS line system. This line is ideal for all single-hand and switch rod fishing. Built on a 20 lbs low-stretch core and looped at both ends, it features an extra smooth and supple coating combined with a thin diameter, allowing it to pass through the guides with minimal resistance. The line is 30 meters long and has a diameter of 0.028” / 0.70 mm.
Coated shooting lines, though being slightly thicker than mono, offer excellent shooting performance with better control and casting balance. The added friction helps the shooting head roll over smoothly. Their coating provides better grip, making them easier to handle in cold or wet conditions, especially during quick or long casts. With less memory and a more supple feel, coated lines lay straighter, reducing tangles and improving performance. Fully floating, they also release easily from the water’s surface.
