Lipless crankbaits

Lipless crankbaits are compact and relatively heavy baits that can be cast really far. This makes them perfect when you want to cover a lot of water and quickly find where the fish are. The shape and weight also mean that they sink quickly, which gives good control over the depth.

The bait creates clear vibrations in the water, either through its shape or in combination with a spoon at the back. This makes it easier for the fish to perceive the bait, even in deeper water or in poor visibility.

You can fish vibration baits in several ways. Try different retrieves - smooth reeling in, quick jerks or letting the bait sink between reels. This way you can fish the entire water column and find where the fish are active.
