Feeder rods

Feeder rods are designed for bottom fishing where the bait is visible at the tip of the rod. They have a sensitive tip, often with replaceable quiver tips, which allows you to clearly see even gentle baits. At the same time, there is enough backbone in the rod to cast heavier feeders and keep control of the fish.

Length and casting weight determine how the rod is used. Shorter and lighter models are suitable when fishing at shorter distances and with smaller feeders, while longer rods provide better reach and control on longer casts. The casting weight needs to match the weight of the feeder and the amount of mash you are using.
