Fluorcarbon lines

Fluorocarbon lines have become a common choice, especially as lead. They are stiffer than many other lines and can withstand abrasion from rocks, bottom and other obstacles better. This makes them useful when fishing in environments where the line is exposed to wear and tear, for example in the mountains or when fishing inshore.

Another advantage is that fluorocarbon can give a more natural presentation compared to, for example, steel wire. When fishing for perch, zander or pike in the right size, the bait can move more freely while maintaining a durable lead. This makes fluorocarbon a flexible option in many situations.
