The CFA Peacemaker is a heavy-duty tactical tomahawk/axe crafted for serious field use. Designed by Special Forces veteran Justin Gingrich (Gingrich Tactical Innovations) exclusively for 5.11, it pairs rugged construction with balanced handling and multi-role utility — ideal for a go-bag, campsite, vehicle kit, or any demanding outdoor task.
Machined as a full-tang head in SCM435 steel (6.85 mm) and finished with a black EDP coating, the Peacemaker resists corrosion and abrasion while delivering consistent strength. The broad 105 mm (≈4") cutting blade combined with a sharpened pick head gives you versatility for chopping, splitting, prying, and piercing. A skeletonized head reduces weight without sacrificing impact power, keeping the axe agile in the swing.
The handle is made from fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) with a textured surface and tactical pummel for a secure grip in wet or cold conditions, and includes a lanyard hole for added retention options. The removable scales allow you to quickly wrap paracord (not included) for a custom grip or emergency cordage.
The Peacemaker ships with a reversible molded sheath that fits on belt or MOLLE and uses a Pull-The-Dot retention snap for secure carry. A four-position belt/MOLLE clip (3" capacity) gives flexible mounting options.
