The new ICS APE series EBB rifle utilize the same ingenious split gearbox, which makes upgrading/changing springs and maintenance easy, as the standard CXP rifles. It also makes for the most realistic disassembly available in an AEG. Also built in is The EBB (Electric Blow Back) that adds to the realism.
The APE rifles feature a monolithic upper receiver with a full-length top rail, fully ambidextrous controls as well as a five angles modular Key-mod rail for a comfortable and customizable platform. The APE rifle was designed to be a multi-mission weapons system, which can be altered quickly in the field, to cover everything from fast CQB games to all-weekend mil-sims.
