This is the perfect spare part or upgrade if your pack doesn’t come with a sternum strap—or if you need something more durable and glove-friendly. To install, just loop the ends around your shoulder straps or attachment points, then double back through the tri-glide to lock it in place.
Why This Design?
No elastic section: Elastic stretches once—and that’s it. It wears out quickly and offers little long-term benefit.
25 mm width instead of 20 mm: Easier handling, especially with cold fingers or gloves.
No split-bar buckles: This low-tech attachment method works with virtually all shoulder straps, making it truly universal.
