The Savotta Jääkäri XL is a 70-liter backpack with an external frame, designed to carry heavy and bulky gear. The design is based on the classic LJK paratrooper backpack and is adapted for use where the load is high and the equipment varies.

The external aluminum frame provides stability and maintains its shape even when the bag is fully loaded. This means that the weight is distributed better and does not collapse like on softer backpacks. The carrying system is adjustable in height and can be adapted to body length, which ensures that the bag fits properly even during longer journeys.

Carrying system

Jääkäri XL uses an external aluminum frame that provides stable carrying when carrying heavy loads. The shoulder straps are S-shaped and together with the hip belt, the weight is distributed so that the load does not end up solely on the shoulders.

The hip belt is adjustable and can be removed completely. It can also be used separately if you want to carry lighter equipment without the entire backpack. Load lifters allow you to adjust how close the weight is to your body.

Packing and access

The main compartment closes with a roll function and top lid. For quick access, there is a zipper at the bottom, which means you can reach the pack further down without having to repack.

Inside, there is the option to divide the contents with a partition. There is also space for a hydration system and grommets for hoses or cables on both sides.

The top lid has a separate pocket for smaller items. The bottom has extra organization with straps and pockets.

Adjustment and fasteners

The backpack is built with MOLLE/PALS on several surfaces, which allows you to customize it as needed. Extra pockets, straps and other equipment can be attached where appropriate.

Compression straps and attachment points make it possible to carry larger equipment on the outside, such as tools or sleeping pads.

Usage

The Savotta Jääkäri XL 70L is used when the pack gets heavy and volume is needed. It is suitable for longer trips, hunting, field work or situations where you need to carry a lot for a long time.
