Valknut is a magic symbol, an interweaving of three triangles. Valknut is a symbol of Odin and his magic, a symbol of transitions (bridges) between worlds. Each of Valknut's triangles corresponds to three vertical worlds: one to Asgard or Alfheim (upper world), the other to Midgard (middle world), the third to Hell or Svartalfheim (lower world).
