The Ingemar Backman Legends Edition was developed in collaboration with one of snowboarding's greatest icons and is specifically designed for snowboarding and alpine skiing. The outer shell is made from Cordura and goatskin leather, while the mitten features a removable liner with PrimaLoft® insulation.
The tapered cuff provides a snug fit around the wrist, allowing the jacket sleeve to fit comfortably over the mitten. The thumb features soft leather, ideal for wiping goggles or a runny nose. With its craftsmanship-inspired appearance and Nordic design, the mitten features Ingemar's signature seagull emblem, reproduced exactly as he originally drew it on the snowboard he used to set his legendary record in Riksgränsen in 1996.
The mitten design provides superior warmth compared to a five-finger glove. For additional insulation, it can be combined with the Arctic Wool Mittens as an extra liner.
Leather is a natural material with unique characteristics. Colour, shade and texture may vary slightly between pairs, which is part of the material's natural character rather than a defect. The product images show the leather slightly darker than it appears on a new mitten. The leather will also darken over time, particularly when treated with leather wax.
