UTactic Fast AK5 Pouch is designed for standard AK5 magazines.
The hybrid design (Cordura® + Kydex) combines the advantages of both nylon and polymer pouches for maximum performance in duty or competition use.
The magazine is securely retained by a Kydex insert that allows quick access during reloads while maintaining strong retention. The insert is suspended inside the pouch using a hook-and-loop attachment.
MOLLE webbing on the back allows the Fast AK5 Pouch to be mounted on PALS platforms (plate carriers, war belts, chest rigs, etc.) or belts of various widths.
- Fast and intuitive magazine changes. With no flap or elastic retention, you get instant “blind” access to the magazine. The open design allows for quick grip and extraction during emergency reloads
- Secure retention. The Kydex insert ensures the magazine stays firmly in place, even upside down or during intense movement
- Shock-resistant. The Kydex insert is flexible and resistant to impacts, even if you fall onto hard surfaces with the pouch mounted on your body armor
- Quiet operation. Unlike many fully polymer pouches, the Fast AK5 Pouch produces minimal noise during handling or when contacting gear, weapons, or other objects
- Space-saving design. Traditional Kydex pouches can occupy 3–4 PALS rows, while the Fast AK5 Pouch only requires 2 rows (like a nylon pouch) and barely exceeds the width of the magazine
- Low-profile construction. The design eliminates elastic cords, reducing the risk of snagging during weapon handling – especially important for front-mounted pouches
