Sparkle Yarn is useful for many tying applications. It is a 3-ply synthetic yarn that looks like wool but with slightly more shiny filaments. It is great for trailing shucks, spinner wings, chironomid gills, yarn bodied steelhead/salmon flies, yarn tails like on a Wooly Worm, or caddis bodies like on Gary LaFontaine's Sparkle Pupa/Emerger patterns.
