Rapala Jigging Shadow Rap 9 cm / 17 g is a lightweight, well-balanced balance jig with a slow, sweeping swimming action that makes it highly effective for targeting large predatory fish. Its wide profile, lifelike finish and pronounced belly flash make the lure visible from a distance, enticing even cautious predators to strike.
Unlike traditional balance jigs, the Jigging Shadow Rap features a lightweight construction that allows it to glide slowly and smoothly beneath the ice. With gentle rod lifts, the lure swims in wide, sweeping circles, imitating an injured or fleeing baitfish. This action makes it particularly effective for pelagic ice fishing and vertical jigging for large perch, zander, pike and brown trout.
The Jigging Shadow Rap features a completely lead-free construction and is equipped with sharp VMC Black Nickel hooks for reliable hooksets. An excellent choice for anglers looking to combine lifelike design with a slow, enticing swimming action.
