The Leatherman Wave Plus is a multi-tool that has long been one of the most used models in the range. In this version, it has been updated with cutters where the wear parts can be replaced, which makes the tool last longer with regular use.
You get a total of 18 functions in a compact format. The tools can be opened and locked in working position, and several of them are accessible without having to fold out the entire tool.

Functions and use
The Wave Plus covers both finer work and heavier tasks. You have two knife blades, one regular and one serrated, as well as a saw and file for working in wood and metal.
The pliers are central to the design and are complemented by cutters, cable strippers and bit holders. This means that the tool works for both simple repairs and more demanding tasks.
Scissors, screwdrivers, can openers and ruler mean that you have most everything in one tool.
